In my day job, I work as a commercial fiction publishing director at Hodder & Stoughton. I specialise in crime fiction but also work across some general fiction, book club fiction, and romantasy titles.
I have also worked at HarperCollins, Orion Publishing Group, and Octopus Books in the past.
I started out in publishing working as a non-fiction publishing assistant, and am fully aware of how difficult it can be to enter the industry.
